Enjoy Western-Style Fun at Denim & Diamonds Event
LACASA Center’s Denim & Diamonds fall fundraiser is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at Haggerty-Bearden Ranch in Howell.
At this jeans-preferred event expect a fun-filled evening with entertainment, dancing, Wild West gambling, and a variety of western-themed activities, followed by a grand finale fireworks display.
Throughout the evening guests can purchase tickets to mine for a $6,000 diamond and other gems at the Cooper & Binkley Diamond Mine raffle, and also try their luck at black jack, craps and other casino games for the chance to win great prizes.
A live auction will offer event-goers the opportunity to bid on an exclusive vacation getaway or on a Baby Gator Tractor. Delicious barbeque and craft brews from Block Brewing, a roaring bonfire, line dancing, and live country-western music are staples at this high-energy event.
Kari Holmes and her band will once again perform country-rock originals and favorites. Holmes is currently touring and selling out shows in the Midwest while also recording her next EP “You’re My Everything”. Kari was also a top 10 nominee for Inspirational Country Music chart’s New Artist of the Year in Nashville.
Event tickets are $100 per person and may be purchased at Cooper & Binkley Jewelers in Brighton and in Howell at Howell Western Wear, LACASA Center and the LACASA Collection. Tickets also are available online at lacasacenter.org.
Diamond Mine raffle tickets are $100. Only 100 tickets for this raffle will be offered. Every ticket holder will come away with a cubic zirconia, a gemstone, or the real diamond. Tickets can be purchased from now through noon on Friday, Oct. 18, at Cooper & Binkley Jewelers, Howell Western Wear, LACASA Center and the LACASA Collection. Although mining for the real diamond at Denim & Diamonds is half the fun, ticket holders need not be present to win. Winner will be announced at the end of the night on Oct. 19, 2019.
All proceeds from Denim & Diamonds and the Diamond Mine raffle stay local and benefit victims of child abuse and interpersonal violence from the community.
