'Shine the Light' Lighting Ceremony

We invite you to join us during the 7^th year of this initiative to shed light on domestic violence awareness across Livingston County.

This event will ignite the lighting of the purple lights at the Millpond to kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the lighting of purple lights all across the County.

Performances by local choirs and Dance Expressions Dance Team of Hartland, artwork by survivors, as well as special speakers from LACASA are on tap.

Community members will also be invited to participate in the creation of a ‘friendship pole’ that will include artistic expression of encouragement and hope for the future.
